Our rentals include up to $295 worth of access per day to attractions including the Biltmore Estate, French Broad Rock Wall, French Broad Zipline, French Broad Whitewater, Launch Trampoline Park, and Timber Axe Throwing. Nov-Feb we provide a free lift ticket to Wolf Ridge Ski Resort and a snow tubing session. Book helicopter tours, e-bikes, wellness tours, hiking and more through our Activity Concierge.

This charming chalet has beautiful views and comfortable living spaces. The large back deck, with dining tables, outdoor lounge chairs and a gas grill is up high and surrounded by trees, providing a treehouse-like feel! Huge windows, cafe lighting and a fire pit make for relaxing getaways. Located 6 miles from Brevard (15 minute drive) and 7 miles from entrance to Pisgah Forest. Dogs welcome!

Enjoy the view from the main level with its dramatic gable wall of windows overlooking the deck. Lots of natural light illuminates the open living area with its relaxing, comfortable seating. It connects to a dining area with a large farm table that seats 8 people. Behind the dining table is a small kitchen with two bar stools at the counter. Just behind the kitchen is the main bedroom with its king bed. Adjacent to the main bedroom is a bedroom with two twin beds. Next to the bedrooms is an updated, full-size bathroom with shower and tub.

The kitchen is stocked with plates and bowls for 6 to 8 guests. There is also cookware and utensils. Appliances include a refrigerator, gas range, dishwasher, microwave and a toaster. For your morning coffee choose between a Keurig, a French Press, and electric coffee maker. We also have a coffee grinder. Many guests have commented that they love the well-appointed kitchen.

Upstairs is a large open loft that with a queen-sized bed and a half bath. There are regular stairs up to the loft. Although the loft is open, the bed is set back and offers plenty of privacy. In the basement there is a great space to park bikes indoors when you're off the trails!

There is no TV, but you will find a projector and large projector screen. You can bring your own laptop or Apple TV to connect to the projector via HDMI. There is a set of speakers you can plug into your laptop or tablet. Washer and dryer are available in the basement.

Head outside and enjoy the fire pit located up in the center of the driveway. There is a small, shallow pond on the far side of the house with a second fire pit. PLEASE USE CAUTION AROUND THE POND, ESPECIALLY WITH SMALL CHILDREN. The house is on one acre, but it is not fenced in.

The Red Chalet is located 6 miles from downtown Brevard (~13 minute drive), 7 miles from the entrance to Pisgah National Forest (~15 minute drive) and 15 miles from Dupont State Forest (~25 minute drive).

Please note there is another house located close by and the houses share a driveway. This makes the Red Chalet a little less secluded than you might otherwise expect so please take this into account. Please respect the neighbors and keep quiet late night.

"Spent 3 weeks in this peaceful setting; this was a work-cation so appreciated that wi-fi was completely reliable. Its proximity to Pisgah, Dupont, and other nearby attractions were perfect for those half days during the week that we could explore. Proximity to Brevard was super convenient. The description "cute cottage near Brevard" nails it.

"Such a warm and beautiful place for a vacation.

Cozy quiet with all the comforts of home!

"Darling chalet that is decorated SO adorably! The home has all the comforts you could possibly need - attention to details such as high quality towels, loads of extra pillows, laundry and dish detergent provided, kitchen staples, extra blankets for snuggling on the couch . The property has a charming fire pit with seating around although we did not use it - too chilly at night when we were there. Large, multi level deck for grabbing some fresh air. Very clean when we arrived and the area around the house is safe for walking your pet. Warm and comfortable get away! The location is a 10 min drive from downtown Brevard and shopping and it a beautiful winding road through the forest and countryside. Great booking!

"The views are amazing...most particularly morning mist in the valley. And oh the night sky!!
Convenient if you want to visit Brevard and Hendersonville. But absolutely great to stay put.
Pete is a fine property manager, was responsive to any questions, concerns, of which we had only one!
